Quay | 2011 Senior

Let me just say that while I enjoy pretty much all of my senior sessions, there are always a few that become favorites for one reason or another.  And this was one of those sessions.  I knew it the minute I saw this senior’s first outfit!  She and her mom did a fabulous job with her outfits and accessories.  So.  Much.  Fun!  The other thing that made this a session was that they had me cracking up the entire time.  Quay brought along her mom and her grandma to her session (and may I point out I now know exactly where Quay gets her stunning good looks), and they were all just a blast to hang with.  Quay and her mom wanted to do her pictures in a nature setting, so we met at one of my favorite parks.  And I hope they’ll forgive me for sharing that these two not-so-nature girls weren’t big fans of the bugs!!  I hope it was all worth it because I’m beyond thrilled with what we captured. :)

Tammy Baker - OMG!!!!!!!! Where do I begin!!!!! Let’s just say I never would’ve thought going with my daughter to take her senior portraits would turn out to be an adventure in the life of the wilderness. I was soooo HOT and SWEATY. I literally thought I was going to die…LOL. And then all the noises begun….I seen frogs, I heard geese, seen lizards and spiders “OH MY”….not to mention the mosquitos. I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. When I picked the nature setting I was thinking just trees and grass…..never did the “creepy crawlers cross” my mind, guess I was thinking of a background drop or something….LOL. Now that’s it’s over I can admit…I am sooooo NOT an outdoors person. I hardly ever go outside. But to be honest I wouldn’t change a thing about that day….I had a BLAST with Marla, we laughed so much that day. I just LOVE the pictures of my daughter. Thanks sooooo MUCH for the memories that’ll last my family a lifetime <3
