On Thursday I finally got the chance to photograph the kids of one of my favorite people on earth. She’s that close friend who is always there for me and my family. You know, the one you can talk to about anything and everything … and nothing. For hours. So when she asked me to take pictures of her kids, I was thrilled. So we headed up to one of favorite nature spots, fought the heat and the bugs, and struggled to get enough good light. And it was worth it. 
And I so enjoyed spending time with this wonderful family. Oh and by the way, tell Jon to get ready for part two!!
